Alternia

I was inspired to take the world of Alternia and give it some proper world building. It's a planet with nocturnal residents, inhabited only by kids. Adults are forced to go into space and fight and colonize for the Empire. I'm not sure if I want to make it capitalistic, yet it will have references to capitalistic concepts.   The flora and fauna is equally dangerous, though most of the fauna are lusii taking care of the Trolls. The whole planet has adapted to be nocturnal, since the day can get very dangerous due to the very powerful sun, that can even blind in seconds. The flowers therfore mostly bloom in moonlight. Speaking of, there are two moons, one pink and one green.   Trolls used to build their hives, but due to the constant changes because of ascension and hatching, cities and apartment blocks were created to not flood the planet with Hives. They can still build their own Hive, if they wish to, but will have to place it rurally.
