The Aether Realms and Planes

Elemental Domains

The materials that form all of physical creation are called elements. The elements exist as domains in additional dimensions that are overlaid on the three dimensional world. The elemental domains are fire, water, earth, wood, metal, air.

Aether Realms

The aethers are additional domains that are infinite and have points of connection with the material realm, and through that with the elemental domains. The Aethers are soul/spirit, time, and order/chaos. Order and Chaos can be unbalanced to release energy or manifest changes in underlying elements. 
The concepts of heaven and hell actually relate to locations in the aethers. The other magical domains of are the connection of the Aethers and elemental domains. Body is the summation of elements in which to seat a mind. Mind is the seat of the soul within the body. Wood covers mindless living things, that react to stimulii but do not have consciousness. Essence is a concept of the interconnection of all the Aethers and Domains and so relates in a meta manner to them.
