Royal Road

The Royal road is the nickname of the main road in Tyria. It is a fifty meter wide stone-paved road going from the coasts of Orlain in the west, to the [CAPITAL] in the east, and from the wastelands of Rakh in the north, to the jungles of Alteria in the south.
It is one of the greatest feats of engineering in Tyria, completed in 5525 AC (-175 MA) without the use of magic, at the insistence of King Filideo I of Tyria, who wanted to prove that the Mortal races are capable of surviving, even without the gifts of the Firstborn.
The construction of the road took thirty-six years, roughly from 5479 AC (-211 MA) to 5525 (-175 MA).
King Filideo I of Tyria, who ordered the construction of the road, didn't live to see it completed.
