Filideo's Rebellion
Filideo's Rebellion started with the uprising of the Human slave King Filideo I of Tyria, who led his clan against the Firstborn overseer responsible for the murder of his mother and sister.
He showed his potential for leadership by successfully slaying his master, and subsequently stealing some of its power.
Filideo's success in overthrowing the rule over his clan showed the other Human clans that it is not impossible to resist, and they willingly joined his forces.
Over the next two years, he succeeded in deposing over eighty other Firstborn lords, and his army grew from a couple hundred clansmen, to well over a hundred thousand battle-hardened warriors.
It was at this time that the Firstborn finally acknowledged his actions, and decided to move against him. Due to their highly individualistic nature, it would take nearly three more years to gather a fighting force, and even then, it was only slightly less than ten thousand members. Meanwhile, Filideo's army constantly grew in both size and power.
By the time of the final conflict, Filideo had gathered over five hundred thousand warriors from among the Mortal races.
