Bifrost

“Gods and creatures travel the astral,” Huginn said. “But only through the bifrost.”
~ Too Wyrd
According to Norse myth, the bifrost is a bridge between Midgard (Earth/the "real" world) and Asgard. However, it is actually much more than that. The bifrost acts as a sort of freeway between all worlds. This includes multiple realities, dimensions and afterlife locations.   An unusual characteristic of the bifrost in the Astral Plane is that it is visible. Also, Gods and God-creatures can travel through the Astral Plane via the bifrost, but cannot exit into the Astral Plane.
I glanced at the silver-blue ribbon that was always in view in the astral plane, no matter where you were. It functioned rather like an expressway throughout the astral, moving travelers quickly in a more physical-like fashion.
