Ethereal Plane

also known as the Misty Shore or Waveless Sea

encompasses the Material Plane, the Echo Planes, and the Inner Planes, before joining the edges of the churning Elemental Chaos that forms at the ends of each of the Inner planes.

Specters can move freely through the Ethereal, and phase spiders step between the two.

Scattered throughout are curtains that allow those inside the Ethereal to peek into other planes. Some are even rumored to act as doorways to other planes.

Within the mist rumble Ether Cyclones, which give plentiful warning, but may shunt a traveler through one of these doors, or out into the Astral plane.
