Describe a common form of currency in your world. Who issues it and what is its value?   Currency across Alte'vurl consists of the same 4 metals, albeit the obverse changes depending on the country and year of mint.   North: no coinage of their own? East: (unions) coins are rectangular,  South: ( ) coins are square, one side has the Phoenix, the other West: (royals) circular coins bear reliefs of previous Empresses, and an image of Tiamat on the other. Center: (suns) circular coins have a small circular hole in the center, like a yen. One side always resembles the sun, the other     Questionable Copper: equivalent to a dollar Silver: equivalent to $10 Gold: equivalent to $100 Platinum: equivalent to $1000   Electrum not used as currency

1 cp 1 pound of wheat
2cp 1 pound of flour, or 1 chicken
1 sp 1 pound of iron
5 sp 1 pound of tobacco or copper
1 gp 1 pound of cinnamon, or 1 goat
2 gp 1 pound of ginger/ pepper, or 1 sheep
3 gp 1 pig
4 gp 1 square yard of linen
5 gp 1 pound of salt or silver
10 gp 1 square yard of silk, or one cow
15 gp 1 pound of saffron/ cloves, or 1 cow
5 pp 1 pound of gold
50 pp 1 pound of platinum
Selling goods   In general, a character can sell something for half its listed price. Trade goods are the exception to the half-price rule. A trade good, in this sense, is a valuable good that can be easily exchanged almost as if it were cash itself.
