Tabaxi
Tabaxi, also known as the catfolk or werecats (of which the latter is rather misleading, as real werecats are humans who have been infected by a certain feline kind of lycanthropy) are bipedal humanoids, who have some outer characteristics of a cat.
Basic Information
Anatomy
They resemble humans in many ways, but their skin is covered in fur, they have cat-like ears and sharp claws. They are also very agile.
Their skin, which is coverned in fur, can almost be of any naturally presenting fur; often shades of grey, brown, black and white. Occasional reds and shimmery blueish blacks have also been spotted. The patterns on the fur are often very much like naturally occuring; spots, swirls, stripes and numerous other markings adorn the fur. It is said, that some catfolk who cherish the more druidish lifestyle and often travel around as bands of nomads, have ways of affecting the fur's coloration by primal magical rituals, but there has not been enough evidence yet to support the fact.
Genetics and Reproduction
The catfolk have a much higher tendency to have a multiple pregnancy than humans. It's is thought quite rare if only one child -a cub- is born.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They can see in the dark better than average human.
