The Black Order

Overview

A group of Necromancers who worship Kelthrai. During the War of Life and Death the Necromancers held a huge amount of power and wealth, and controlled an enourmous amount of the world over 250 years. After the Battle of Aurora, the order fell into total disorganisation, and fell apart.
During the War of the Five nations however the confusion allowed the Order to regain strength, and in doing so led to the discovery of secret arcane knowledge by some of the senior members. The Order now seeks to regain their power, and bring things back to what they feel was their "Golden Era of Order and Life".

The Second Rise of the Order

Following the investigation of a series of abductions and potential murders in the city of Parkin, it was revealed that a group of unknown necromancers were seeking to empower the Black Order again. A group of adventurers trailed their activities to the flying Elven city of Quantica. The city was reveled to be infiltrated by the order, and after 9 months of engagement, the city fell to the Black Order, and disappeared in a flash of Green and Black smoke. Noone has heard anything from the city since then.
Following this, the influence of the Order grew, and eventually found its way into each of the kingdoms within Pater. It is unknown at this point whether the overthrowing of the Alderan Conclave, was part of the machinations of the Order, or there was some other influence involved.

The Hand

The fingers are a group of five senior necromancers who serve as trusted advisors and enforcers to Xalneath, the Grey Sorcerer. They are as follows:
The Grip: In charge of Military forces, and prisoners. (Killed by STOKMIR) The Index: In charge of intelligence and information The Fulcrum: The Leader of the Hand, The most powerful second to Xalneath The Bond: Brother to the Oath, both excel in necromancy The Oath: Sister to the Bond, particularly good at manipulation and intel.
