  • Observing children starting the day.
  • Notices a Skyport, skyships in the harbor, and Grimpair Observatory.
  • They head downtown to the Temple of Spellcraft.

  • Picked out a book about the Sahuagin of the Sterile Sea
  • Soalgo had a migraine while searching for the book.
    • Randomly pointed out a book, thinking it was one he burned or the cause.
    • Oriio quickly grabbed the book and brought it to Daaku.
    • Soalgo stepped outside to take a breath.
  • Dakuu spent its time studying materials needed for the books.

      • Every material used to create this volume is unknown.

      • Sasf managed to id the paper and ink. It is a pretty average material in bookmaking.
  • Soalgo was comforted by Sasf outside the library.
    • The librarian informed him of a possible location for a book that he was looking for.

  • The trio entered the facility as school was ending.
  • Jeanne informs them that the library is private and can't enter with school identification.
  • She offered to sponsor them if they did something for her.
  • Jeanne was amazed that Oriio never ate an oreo or had chocolate.
    • She plans on rewarding Oriio with those sweet goods.
Sprig & Tern
Location: Outskirts of Atbrook
  • Two travelers are heading to Atbrook.
  • Watching the airship head to town.
  • Observing the wetlands and wildlife.
    • Approached a couple of Shoebill cranes. Tern asked them for directions, and one of them attacked Tern.
Location: Entering Atbrook
  • A horseless carriage passes the two travelers.
    • Two arm guards on horseback were escorting it.
    • Sprig noticed that one of the guards gave the both of them a glance.
  • On the edge of town, Sprig hears someone in distress.
    • They both see a person in trouble and assist.
      • Sprig tried to de-escalated. However, the lord in trouble threatened the hooligan.
      • Sprig and Tern did their best not to kill any of the criminals. Unfortunately, one of them did die.
  • Several people came out of the building near the scuffle.
    • They see Sprig over the dead body trying in vain to revive the hooligan.
    • An aarakocra that looks resembles a peregrine falcon informs the travelers of the situation.
    • He explains the situation to the two "herd" members.
    • He offers Tern a dill pickle. Then, a generous half-orc gave Tern a pickle.
    • The aarakocra begins to explain the possible outcomes and how he can help them out.

A child at the Grimpair Learning Center said he was attacked by an ooze/slime. He was visiting his family in the unregistered town of Painaumaïs. The school administrator asked if they could check out the boys' story.

    Found information about a wizard in the city of Lebrook. The mage could own "The Wizard and the Wine," a restaurant.
  • Team Kuu: Info
    The family of Thaah Mornstar has possession of the tomb. The former wizard and betrayer of the Wester Flock have been dead for some time. So the book is probably in the family home of the Mornstars.

He is a friendly alcoholic that frequents the gambling den known as "Who Licked the Salt." The jovial man that doesn't respect personal boundaries. Tristand interacted with the player Kuu, and they bought each other drinks.

Sasf Fisascis

She is the head librarian at the Temple of Spellcraft. Sasf interacted with Soalgo, Dakuu, and Oriio. She assisted them with several books. Soalgo suffered from a migraine while looking for books, and she comforted him a bit outside. Sasf helped out Dakuu with some of the materials components for a book of maps of the desert.

Ryuanna

She is a bartender at "Who Licked the Salt." This friendly lady has one eye that is a ruby and silver rings up her neck. She was talking to Kuu and thought Kuu was Baron Panhomin. She was expressing why such a nobleman is in a location like the gambling hall on the outskirts of town. She helps make introductions to Lothaire Gagnon.

Lothaire Gagnon

He is a clove cigarette smoking, with dark eyes and charming Aarakocra. He summons Baron Panhomin, aka Kuu, to his table. They drink, gamble, and exchange information. Lothaire eventually meets Sprig and Tern. He offers Tern a dill pickle as they discuss the situation's circumstances.

Whorjae

He is a watchful half-orc that notices something is off with Baron Panhomin. Whorjae briefly explains to Tern and Sprig the laws broken in their engagement in the city and the possible punishments.

Shoebill Crane

These are captivating beasts of the wetlands. The tall bird creature was in the middle of its mating ritual when an eight-foot-tall animal disrupted it. The male shoebill protected his territory and love from this tall purple monster. He snapped his jaw and kicked at the invader. Then, finally, at last, the trespasser left.

Jeanne Pan

She is the front office administrator at the Grimpair Observatory. The young half-elven woman has wavy silver hair, an arcane tattoo on her right hand, and always has a snack in her pocket. Today's snack was ginger snap cookies. She informs Soalgo and Dakuu that the library is private. However, if you have school identification or a sponsor, they may use it. She offered to sponsor them if they did something for her first. Jeanne has a quick amusement with Oriio about cookies and that Oriio has not experienced the tasty treats.

Book of the Depth - Study of the Sahuagin Sterile Sea
A large book that goes over the ecology of sea life in the Sterile Sea. There are several chapters about the Sahuagin and their culture. A chapter goes over the curse maidens of the depth. It has an appendix of the many sea monsters in the inland sea.
Desert of the Dwarves
It is a series of maps showing the topographical changes of the dwarven desert highlands. Look at sections J8 and J9 on the world map for the location of the atlas.

Pronounce: pawn-u-may-z   The village is an unregistered colony of Menione near the river Visàmétaux, pronounced vee-a-metal. Painaumaïs is self-sufficient farming, cattle, and fishing community. It can be found southeast of Atbrook.
