General Summary

Freya & Abendlied

  The orange and lavender sky is quickly darkening as storm clouds move in. The rain quickly beats down from the darkening sky. A lone person walks the muddy highway. Water rinsing down her hood as she walks closer to her destination. Lost in her thoughts on this mysterious invitation. A benefactor looking to hire her for an archaeologist job. Lightning arcs the night sky. The thunder rolls through the blackened sky. Multiple charges of lightning make landfall. Startling the lone person on the road. The charges from the blast tickle her feet. Feeling at home in the storm. The lone woman alters her direction towards the blast of lightning. A curled up young woman lays there in the blackened charred ground. Steam fuming off her body as the rain begins to cool her off. A hand taps the naked young woman. As the man begins to question this vulnerable helpless woman. The woman reflection-less eyes stabs the man like daggers. This steaming woman propels herself onto the man. Her white teeth puncturing the helpful man's neck.   The lone hooded woman arrives at the location of the lightning strike. She comes to the horrifying sight. A young bloody little girl putting on the final bits of clothes. The oversize clothes seem to come from a body next to her. The young lady begins speaking in an unknown language to the hooded woman. The young lady speaks again in a different language. The expression and body language from the hooded woman tells the young lady. That she still does not understand her. The young girlish lady speaks in a different tongue. This time around. The hooded lady responds back to the young lady in the same tongue.  

Egart, Bob and Mystery Owl of the Rainbow Falls CLan

Three figures stand drenched in the middle of a valley. The valley is filled with tall grass-like plants with golden tips. They look a little beaten down due to the weather. A tall lanky feline making small talk to this short but boisterous halfling. A soaking average build human with matted wet blonde hair and brown eyes. Stands there listening to the other two banter back and forth. Two new people begin walking forth to the others. A young lady in soaking wet clothes and another woman in a hood. The young soaking wet woman creepily begins talking to the others. She talks to them in a gambit of strange languages. Making others feel quite uncomfortable. Until the feline responds to her in one of those languages, draconic. A bright light of a door opens in the middle of this empty valley. A tan dwarf with dark tan skin and a manicured beard steps through the door. He welcomes the party of five to join him inside.   Inside this magical room are various forms of draconic artwork and artifacts. The polite dwarf asks the party of five to follow him. He brings the group through this hallway of baroque design and motifs of ten magnificent dragons. Five gorgeous metallic dragons and five terrifying chromatic dragons. The dwarf brings the group into the dining room. Eight people are at this long table. Eating drinking and making loud conversation. The man at the head of the table welcomes the group to sit and eat. The purplish hair lady with a gaunt face looks over the new people in the room. Her eyes land on this strange young lady in oversized clothes. The young lady matches her stare. The purplish hair lady glides to this young woman. Probes her with peppering questions and probes a bit more. She turns away and walks back towards the host. The young lady says one more thing and the lady smiles slightly.  

Gabbro & Mystery Owl

The feline begins to vibrate wildly and glows brightly. Skipping every other word and then vanishes into thin air. As this happened a grey-skinned bald dwarf bursts through dining room doors. The host welcomes the dwarf.  

The Test

Now that everyone is here. The host explains that they are in the need of archaeologist, smugglers, and protection. They are in need of people to explore a newly found ancient elven city. But, have been unable to find the proper folks to do the job. They have a mapmaker in the town of Rojorio. That has mapped the general area but has been unable to delve deeper. The host offers the group a large sum of gold. As soon as the gold is mentioned. A blade penetrates through the host's chest. A red-skinned tiefling looks over the group. He orders a 7’ goliath, that was on the other side of the table, to kill these people. He continues to order the rest to go after the purple hair lady and her manservant. He also orders the rest to start taking everything. The tiefling glances over to the boisterous halfling. As a soupy fog begins surrounding the area. The halfling has already notched an arrow and then let it loose towards the tiefling. The sword still wedged into the host chest. The tiefling uses that body as a shield. The tiefling leaves the room. Trusting that the goliath will finish the people off.   The young lady, Abendlied, runs towards the host. Touches him and stabilizes him. Freya, the hooded woman that arrived with Abendlied, begins dragging the host to the door. Trying to escape and get out of harms way. But the door that the lady and her manservant went through is locked. They begin dragging the host to the other side door. The halfling, Egart, and the grey dwarf, Gabbro, begin hammering and piercing the goliath with their weapons. The goliath swings poorly. Loses his footing. Do to a variety of food on the marble floors. Gabbro makes a sligh comment and smashes his hammer into the goliath.   After the battle is over. Abendlied healed the incoherent host. The group begins exploring the magical home with the host in tow. They walk up the stairs. They find the orc and two half-orcs from the dining room. They seem to be ransacking the showroom on the second floor. A battle ensues. Sometime during the battle, the host disappears from the group.   The group explore these odd rooms with ancient runes on the door. Each room seem to have a magical charm to replicate certain weather types. Gabbro went to ea. of the dragon motifs. He matched the environment of the room to the environment of the corresponding dragon. Each dragon had the name of the dragon and the day it died. Gabbro took down these notes. He figure out that the paintings and the rooms match up together.   The team found the safe room. Two men from the dining hall are attempting to open the lock. The party quickly dispatches the group. The group find themselves in front of a two-row combination lock of 5 digits. The symbols of the lock match the symbols on the bedroom doors. The group place the symbols matching the order of the doors. Nothing happened. Freya then suggest placing the order of the symbols. To the death of each of the mighty dragons. The lock clicks. The voice of the tiefling can be heard congratulation the group for solving the lock.   The tiefling scimitar ignites into flame and the fight begins. The tiefling and Gabbro both clash their weapons. The tiefling gets the better of Gabbro. But, he took an immense amount of damage from everybody else. The tiefling attempts to escape, but Egart refuses to let him getaway. Egart dodges the attempted ambush from the tiefling. He launches a close-range arrow into the tiefling taint. Defeating the tiefling. Freya runs up to Gabbro. She attempts to bandage him up, but she makes his wound bigger. Causing blood to spill onto the floor. With the help of Egart, Freya manage to close his wound.   After taking an hour break to let Gabbro and Bob recover. Freya found the hidden latch to open the locked door. Greeting them as the door open are Lord Jefferies(the host), Lady McFey(the hostess), and Diego Ironforge(the manservant). Lord Jefferies looks completely healthy. As he congratulates the group for passing their test. Abendlied charges toward him looking to attack him. Egart jumps on top of her to slow her down. Diego jumps in front of Lord Jefferies. They managed to calm down Abendlied. Lord Jefferies apologizes again. He then offers desert and drinks to talk more about the job. He gives the group a 100gp and to meet with the caravan master in the morning. They are to head toward Rojorio.   The party ends the night in an inn outside the walls of the city.
