Takoda Wahkan

Takoda Wahkan runs a well known (and long lasting) eatery within the center of the city of Las Isloyatan. His restaurant mainly consists of his own recipes, and only makes comfort foods without anything too fancy to its name, believing that ‘relying on anything extra to make up from a poor foundation of a dish’ doesn't truly count as good cooking. This, combined with his cold and unforgiving attitude, results in him not getting as much business as some of the newer, far more innovative eating establishments littering the city. He doesn't mind this, however, for he is close to retiring and has had his fill of the restaurant business. But despite his seemingly standoffish nature and willingness to retire, he has a deep passion for cooking, and wishes for those to cherish his recipes as much as the next, and for said recipes to be carried on for generations to come even after he’s gone, for family is how he obtained his recipes, even though he's now the only one left.
One day, he hears word of a young, seemingly homeless woman residing outside of his restaurant, but still within his property by a customer. Seemingly rather annoyed by this, he storms outside and tells her to get lost. But when he sees her poor condition, starving and dehydrated, he reluctantly takes her in and provides her a meal. She seems to brighten up afterwards, asking him if there's any way he has any positions open. Still rather reluctant, he hears her story and eventually decides to give her a position as a waitress, and even a temporary place to stay. But as the man pitied her and time went on, the two form a father-daughter like relationship with one another, to which he eventually takes her under his wing and teaches her his recipes, in hopes that one day she will inherit his restaurant and continue his legacy.
