Selkis Renenet

Selkis Renenet never got along well with her parents, who both dedicated their entire lives to the teachings of Deshret. So when it was time for her to move out, she jumped at the opportunity and became one of the select Hilaelians to take a gamble and move to live down in the City of Iba. Rather than the Hilaelian religion, Selkis was always way more interested in the Adairian’s lax culture and their teachings, when word went around of an underground city filled with the culture of Adair, she was quick to run away from home to this city of supposedly 'endless entertainment.'  Despite the rash and rather spur of the moment call for adventure she strived for, the sudden move did not pan out well for her. Originally, she was in a well enough standing at home, where she had lived with her strictly Hilaelean mother and father in a much nicer home to reside in. But when it was time to move out and she moved to Iba, she spent most of her money on the bountiful amounts of entertainment provided (particularly gambling). Now poor and desperate for money in order to keep her home in Iba, she turns to winning prize money in illicit creature fights to keep her afloat. But above all, she refuses to return home to her parents.
