Sariyah Renenet

Devoting her entire life to the Crescent Queen and the teachings of Deshret, her only wish in life is to heed and spread these teachings to the world, whether those are willing to listen to the word of Deshret or not.  Sariyah Renenet of Hilael resides above ground in the city of Madhiba, specifically in Madh with her husband, daughter, and son. But when her rebellious daughter mysteriously disappears one day, she searches Madh in its entirety with her mercenary husband in an attempt to bring her home. After weeks of searching for her with search and mercenary parties alike, she was nowhere to be found. Now desperate, she turns to her son, the one that was closest to her, for answers. When he shows to be reluctant, she grows suspicious, and grounds him to his room until he can provide an answer to her whereabouts. He's forced to tell his mother that his sister, Selkis, has told him of her plans to run away to the underground city of Iba, and after uncovering what the purpose of this city was, she grows enraged, and vows to expose this city and bring it to ruin. Despite this, her status and lack of power both physically (with magic) and socially within the hierarchy leaves her powerless to do it alone. This does not stop her, however, for the goal of taking down the underground city of Iba still lingers, festering within her as the time without her daughter near progresses.

For now, she strictly lies on the teachings of Deshret to guide her as she spreads to discourage any acts of traitorous behavior within the people of Madhiba. But behind the scenes lies a twisted plot to study blood magic, forge a lance from her own blood, and bring this city and all who inhabit it to ruin, no matter the consequence or even the blood that might be shed. Whether this be her own, or the traitors that lie beneath the surface.
