Leigh-Laan is the deity of medicine and healing in the Adair culture. They were created, unlike their siblings, in the original mixture of elixir by Adair, which took aspects and instruction from each of the other deities. This incorporated aspects of each of the first 5 deities in the forms of flora and crops from Talmah, a drop of the sun from Ghri, water from a full moon from Murtair, a snickering whisper into the mixture from Seolta, and half of an enemy’s body weight in blood from Laech Cathai. Leigh-Laan was created in an effort to save humanity from its illness, attributed to greed. They serve as a reminder to the people to keep their wants in check behind their needs. With Leigh-Laan to help the Adair, illness could be mitigated and prosperity blossomed in the communes once again.

Leigh-Laan is able to communicate with the Cea what ingredients to use to make the elixir, as it is said to have healing properties, as well as communicating what herbs and local ingredients are able to be utilized in healing remedies and salves. In a similar way, Leigh-Laan communicates with the Cea’s assistants to balance the workload that the elixir becomes and to create the perfect elixir every time so that the people may continue to thrive. When communicating with the healers of the communes, Leigh-Laan ensures that everyone is getting their proper care and the techniques being utilized for care are the most effective they can be.

As the seasons change so do their remedies, so Leigh-Laan has to communicate with the other deities to ensure that the correct solutions will be available to the people. Leigh-Laan does not easily give over her remedies to the people, they have to earn her trust and show true respect for them. It is important that nothing would be done to break the integrity that is held within the elixir or her remedies for the Adair people.
