Leacht Dhiadh
The focus of the Adiar culture, leacht dhiadh is an elixir believed to allow Adairians to see visions of the dieties. It is only drank during Troscadh or coming of age ceremony (the age of 13), as not only respect for the dieties, but also in hopes to see visions. If visions are seen and is proved to be true by the Cea, that individual will train to become the new Cea of their commune.
Only the Cea, apprentices, and alchemists are allowed to know the recipe for creating the leacht dhiadh. With the difficulty of crushing and grinding the flora, balancing the amounts, and timing the purifications, it is why so few Adairians know how to create it, taking years of practice to perfect and even more to master. The technology of alchemy instruments grew rapidly to be able to efficiently craft the elixir.
The leacht dhiadh is created from the leaves of [flora] and roots of [flora] ground together with nectar from the [flower] and morning dewdrops. It is then purified and heated to turn into a smooth, thin syrup that shines gold that has a pink tint that appears when swirled. It is reported to be sweet like honey, but burns at the back of the throat. Alchemists and Ceas often trade with other communes, Hileal kingdoms, and Astorian kingdoms to get the flora needed, as resources sometimes become scarce before the next harvesting season.
