Kohana Amernef

Kohana is a wakatakten tokherd approximately forty years of age, tall, dark of hair and eye. He lives in a small home about three days from the city of wakatakte, with his family and tokal herd. Only having contact with people outside the family when he takes the choice among his herd to the city to sell. He was born into this life, but his father, now a decade dead, was not. His father, Teremun Amernef was a citizen of Madhiba but after committing some crime Kohana was never able to determine he fled north into wakatakte and hid among the mountains eventually starting the same herd that Kohana and his brothers now maintain. In addition to Kohana Teremun had two other children, all from different mothers, both male his older brother chaska and his younger brother Enapay both of which live nearby to Kohana, forming a small compound of their three homes and a garden that they share. About twenty years ago during a trip to Wakatakte after he had sold his tokals to the butcher, he by chance ordered a bowl of Luhȩkąn from the same tavern as Chumani a young woman whom he eventually married after several years of only seeing each other every four months or so. Together they have had three children, two daughters: Winona and Ehawee, and a son Tahatan. Winona is the oldest at fifteen, Ehawee is thirteen, and Tahatan nine years old. Kohana now spends most of his days teaching Winona and Ehawee how to care for the herd and how to make money off of it.
