Kamali Zonta

Young and naïve, Kamali Zonta moved to Las Islos alone against her parents's wishes in favor of the endless entertainment the city promised. However, she quickly fell into an endless cycle of gambling, growing addicted to its thrill. Every day, she pressed her luck in the casinos, until she eventually goes bankrupt. She recieved no help from her parents despite her pleas, and thus, is left to deal with her bankrupcy alone, until she is forced onto the city streets.  For a while, she remains homeless on the streets, with little to no food or access to clean water. She's forced to live off of donations, setting up camp next to a nearby restaurant in hopes that people will be kind enough to spare any change. But even then, that wasnt enough to get by.  The next morning she awoke, weak and starving. She hardly could move from her spot next to this restaurant, and when the owner comes out to ward her away, he notices her condition and pauses. He allows her to come inside, and gives her something to eat. It was a comforting meal, one that she would be eternally grateful for.  She asks if he is hiring, desperate for any sort of job until she is able to afford another livingspace. Apprehensively at first, the seemingly cold hearted man relents and offers her a job as a waitress, and even a place to stay above the restaurant until she is able to get back on her feet, to which she happily takes. As time went on and on, the two form a father-daughter like bond, and eventually the restaurant owner teaches her to cook with the recipes he's held onto for many generations, to which she currently continues to work for him despite making enough money to afford a small home, happy to help the one person that saved her life.
