Blood Bats

These bats, closely resembled to a more commonly known vampire bat, drink the blood of humans to survive. But with this, comes the possibility of consuming a human's blood infused with blood magic. These mutant blood bats are a result of this, gaining the power to shapeshift and form a doppelganger of the human it recieves blood from, ultimately allowing them to use that human's power through their body. Depending on how strong or how weak the blood mage is depends on how easily they are able to ward off this species of bat. In order to maintain its power, however, it must hunt down the right humans, or drink as much blood as it possibly can. These bats are small, but quick and potentially deadly depending on how much blood it is able to consume. Its bite is akin to a thin needle, both in terms of pain and size of the wound it creates.
