Aimitankh

Aimitankh, ‘Aimit’ for short, was born in the Iilaa Markaz region within Tahwil. He spent much of his youth roaming around the streets while his mother and father ran one of the many clothing shops of Tahwil. The time that his parents dedicated to provide a stable home would leave Aimitankh to be raised predominantly by the streets. One day when some soldiers from Kaliq-Hala were in the area, Aimit had been watching and noticed elaborate artwork sewn across the bodies of the warriors. This intrigued Aimit. He would learn more about tattoos and their history and soon he’d become fully infatuated with tattoos. After spending much time and effort on gathering the funds and connections to acquire everything necessary, Aimit finally had what he needed to become one of the many tattoo artists of Tahwil. His parents were ok with this decision, mostly saddened that he would not be continuing the family’s clothing stand when they no longer could.

That sadness would quickly end when Aimit started giving out tattoos designed for merchants. He could give chefs tattoos on their hand to measure ingredients, seamstresses tattoos for measuring all in addition to his ability to do great artistic work as well! While other artists would copy and innovate on the designs, Aimitankh was the original creator of this style. His tattoo shop became very well known amongst Tahwil residents and brought in plenty of money for him and his parents to live comfortably and happily. The attention the city now gave him, however, is not something that Aimit enjoyed much at all. He seeked desperately to escape the public eye and live a more peaceful, quiet life.
