Aguyathun

Balled up, deep fried, and dipped in a sticky sweet sauce, Aguyathun is a sweet tasty treat that can be found at hundreds of stalls throughout the densely packed streets of Las Islos. Originally created as a method of utilizing old beef mince, these meat buns are widely regarded as the national snack food of the city. They first came about when a group of Astorian settlers had come into the city to begin a butchering business, following many traditional astorian values of using all of the pieces of the animal. Las Islos had adapted a more lax and wasteful attitude towards animal parts, with many useful ingredients being thrown out. These new settlers noticing this, but lacking many of the skillsets required to appropriately use these parts decided to cleave and mince up the parts into ground meat, and formed them into balls to fry in an oil
