Adairian Steel

The Adairian forge acid is composed primarily of two substances, a thin green acid that corrodes the metal forming holes and pockets with him the blade, and a waxy substance harvested from pine nut trees. The waxy substance sets into these holes and cracks formed in the blade, and hardens, forming stronger bonds within the steel. This two step process is incredibly delicate, as the ratios of the acid to wax need to be perfect, and the time dipped into the acid has to be perfect otherwise the sword will fall apart if left in too long
