Pontiff of Tipi ųčh Inaįyųkh The Čąteiyųkȟ is the religious head of the Astorian people. The Čąteiyųkȟ is the one role in Astorian culture that is believed to have the ability to hear the Anointed Mothers words and convey her wishes to the rest of the Astorian’s. Being a conduit for the Anointed Mother makes this role highly important and revered. The Čąteiyųkȟ lives in the kingdom of Wakate, as this is the home of the Reconquista, this is so the Anointed Mothers wishes can be conveyed as the Reconquista is being planned. As the Reconquista grows and develops the Čąteiyųkȟ continues to lead as the religious head of command, the second most powerful command in Wakatakte, the first in power is the Oyate due to the martial law that has taken over. Martial law and being the home of the Reconquista has led Wakatakte to be a largely militaristic society, so the Čąteiyųkȟ works hard to continue to inspire faith and hope of the coming victory against the Hilalelean kingdoms, as said by the Anointed Mother. Each day there are calls for prayer from the churches at the dusk and dawn prayer times, sometimes the Čąteiyųkȟ can be seen attending and even leading the prayers. Other common times to see the Čąteiyųkȟ is when official news from the Anointed Mother is being given and during celebrations and festivals. When seen leading prayers or out giving blessing during celebrations and festivals the Čąteiyųkȟ makes sure to always lead themselves with an air of importance but also joy as to continue to inspire and uplift the other Astorians.
