Cascadia is threatened by an invading force and they have no military to defend themselves. The citizens must decide whether to stay or flee.

Demographics

Exclusively Zorra. Visitors from other races are permitted to enter temperarily but the Council has not allowed any other races to settle in Cascadia permenantly.

Defences

A system of robotic sentries called Guardians watch over the streets of the city and stand guard over the city's walls, protecting it from outside threats. A division of Zorra guards also patrol the streets and are the oficial police of the city. An enormous energy shield encapsulates the entire lake, protecting the inhabitants and hiding the city from view.

Industry & Trade

The Zorra people craft high-end jewelery and pottery to sell as well as toys and figurines. Musicians play for tips in the streets or can be hired formally as a band. By fay the largest source of income is tourism.

Infrastructure

Cascadia is a thriving city. They have every amenity a traveller could resonably ask for, though they specialize in water sourced items.

Districts

A large market square holds numerous food and trinket vendors for small businesses. Permanent resturants, stores, and professional businesses are located along the main street and business levels above the market square and above that is the royal as well as a hospital and amphitheater.

Tourism

Tourists are atrracted to the domain's natural beauty. Travellers come from near and far to lounge on the white beaches and admire the pictuesque lakes and waterfalls. The most famous landmark is Veiled Falls, the tallest waterfall in the world. Found to east of Cascadia, this waterfall is best viewed in the evening when the sun's rays reflect off of the cascading water and make a majestic circle rainbow. The city itself is a marvel of archetecture and beauty and tourists come to see the White City glow at night. A plethora of delicious fish food dishes are also available, as well as other meats, vegetables, and fruits trom the tropical landscape so everyone is sure to find something tasty.

Architecture

This magnificent structure was crafted almost entirely of lumo stone, a type of rock that glows a pleasant blue hue in the dark and is found in abundance on the lakebed of Lake Zorra and nearby Polymoss Mountain. Much of the city was recently built above water to accommodate tourists and travelers, with large open platforms and spires extending out of the water and cliffs for their air-breathing visitors. Underwater lie the private areas of the Zorra, such as living spaces, workshops, nurseries, the school, and research facilities.

Geography

Located in the center of Lake Zorra between the arms of Polymoss Mountain, Cascadia was named for the many waterfalls pouring over Polymoss's sheer face and built into its architecture. The city extends into the mountain itself and stretches over a large part of the lake's surface like a white stone lilypad. The lake is fed by the Veiled Falls and flows down the Zorra river to the ocean.
