Triton

Triton are the grand aquatic defenders of the sea. Created by the goddess Shazia - Goddess of the Seas  on the day of creation, they were made to work in partnership with the dwellers of the surface and the sky. However, upon the betrayal of Bazrag and his destruction of the land, the Triton rejected their purpose of partnership and became the defenders of the Sea. Surface Dwellers are generally seen as enemies to the average Triton, although they often have soft spots for Halfings  and Gnomes.
Triton live in harmony with the Lan'Tide, who have maintained a healthy relationship with one another since the Elves of the Lost Lands were saved by Shazia.
