Lamotte

The Lamotte family found its wealth in the export of timber being so close to the Elihail forest and the River Kingdom. As the Lamotte's fortune's have grown so has the city of Olbia becoming a hub within the isle of folk from the feywild and material world to meet.
The Lamotte's have captialised on this intermingling along with the relative remoteness of Olbia to become respected traders of elven wares throughout the isle.  The family have also grown their reputation amongst the courts of the feywild providing welcome supplies from the Isle.
With the Tuomi's increased contact and dealings with the Ornhini Resistance the Lamotte's have had to be careful in their dealings with the Ndor en'i'duin orn whose lands are so close to theirs. While Lord Hytomenn recognizes the need to support the Ornhini many in his court have broken trade relations and agreements with the Lamotte in protest of their connection to the Tuomi. The Lamotte's in return have pronounced their innocence in any support of the ongoing difficulties between the two racial groups while still not banning those known to be part of the resistance from Olbia or their ships.
