Muzah

The island nation of Muzah is an island to the northwest of the Monestary of Broken Worlds. Muzah has outlawed all use of magic.
The government has made sure of this by surrounding the island with an anti magical field. In this way, no magic functions on the island.
The denizens of the island have found unique ways of living without magic, including mastering the art of healing without magic. These unique hears are called Physicians, and use the world around them by studying it and finding ways to heal that do not involve magic.
The history of Muzah is one of a wonderful place, with a fantastic ruler, a Queen, who fell under the guise of a man who would be King. This man, using great and dark magicks cast the Queen in to darkness and made her mind not her own.
Through this connection, he married the Queen and sired many heirs. Eventually, however, the denizens of Muzah tired of the harsh and terrible rule and fought back. Citizens using naught but their wits caught against terrible creatures of magicks yet unknown.
Eventually the harsh King met his end and fell in battle, his heirs taken along with him. The Queen, however, freed from his dark rule wept tears for her people and her land. Swearing that no longer would magic harm her people or their land, Queen Muzana gave her life and, using a greater and far more ancient Magick then even the evil King was aware of.
This sacrificial magic allowed for an extended and far reaching anti magical shield to expand around the island of Muzah. Since that time, no magic has been able to be performed on Muzah.
