Major Deities
Tornis - LN - God of Life and Death
Tornis is considered to be patient and understanding. He does not mind waiting for mortals to travel to him. Life and death is a circle.
Borunda - N - Goddess of Knowledge, Life, Light, and Magic.
Borunda is considered to be well versed in all knowledge. It is said that all that we know flows from her.
Mozar - CE - God of Trickery and War
Mozar, the mad King, was once mortal. It is said that he faught an invading army for 400 days with little sleep, nothing to drink but water, and a few rations. He fell in the end but he killed all of he enemies. In turn, when he died, he tricked Tornis into making him the god of war. In punishment, he was also banished from the realm. He can only see the realm of Aloria through the eyes of those who follow him, whether willingly or otherwise.
Lumin - CN - Goddess of Tempest and Nature
Lumin is said to be the wife of Tornis. She is wild, firey, and does as she wants. She is spirited and hates to be told no. She can be kind one moment and curse you the next.
Lozar - NE - God of Light and Darkness
Lozar, the twin of Mozar, is said to be half light and half dark. Lozar is forever split between two worlds, pulled by both, and sat in neither.
Zeus - CN - Head of Greek Pantheon
Originally from another world, Zeus stole Zara from Vilarian and used his powers to control her and force her to do his bidding. Later, after Vilarian and Loki freed her from Zeus' control Zara took the finishing blow and took his powers becoming a Goddess.
Loki - CN - God of Trickery, Physical Change, and Development.
Originally from another realm, Loki came to Aloria and assisted Vilarian in saving his children so that Vilarian could rescue his wife, Zara.
Vilarian - CN - God of Darkness, Bonds, Death, and Shadow.
Vilarian was once a normal Wood Elf until he used the blood stones to help his party. This process destroyed his physical body, ascending him into godhood. Vilarian is the husband of Zara.
Zara - CN - Goddess of Family, Children, and Bonds.
Zara was kidnapped by Zeus, when he came to this realm to destroy the Alorian Goddesses and Gods. Using his powers, Zeus forced Zara to follow him. In this way, he went against Vilarian, and Vilarian would later -- with the help of Loki -- track them down and defeat Zeus. In doing so, Zeus' power had to go somewhere. Zara is the wife of Vilarian.
Geldarr - LN - God of Time and Law
Geldarr is a mysterious entity that, even among scholars, not much is known. It is known that he keeps the Books of Law within his home, King's Rock, but none are sure where this place is truly at.
Salinda - N - Goddess of Health and Prosperity
Salinda is considered to be the most calm and peaceful of the gods, choosing to leave the room when arguments erupt, rather than getting in the middle of -- or even being around -- arguments.
Mornia - CG - Goddess of Trust and Secrets
Mornia is considered to be split between two worlds, trust and secrets, but she is often seen depicted with a two sided coin.
Bronlar - CN - Goddess of Love, Trust, and Hate
Bronlar gave the world two gifts: Love and hate, birthed from her mouth and given to the world in a raging fire, this gift sparked the beginning of all peace and all war.
Tomar - NE - God of Peace, Secret, and Nightmares
Tomar, once considered to be good, attempted to kill Tornis and was cursed to live a life of neverending peace. His very presence causes nightmares to fuel in those around him, but he can never find anything but peace within.
Tora - LN - Goddess of the Earth and War
Tora is strict in her personal code, all must grow and all must wither way. The circle is never ending.
Mora - CN - Goddess of the Sea
Mora cares more about her personal freedom than anything (or anyone) else. She worries for herself more than those her traverse her seas. It is said she blesses both sailors and pirates equally.
Ono - N - Goddess of Air
Ono does care about her personal freedoms, but she is less likely to hold herself above others. She tends to remain neutral and visit m her three sisters equally.
Leynia - NE - Goddess of Flames
Leynia has no qualms nor compassion I who she harms. It makes no difference to her, as she considers all beneath her flames. It should be said, however, that Leynia is attributed with providing the gift of fire to mortals.
Jordan - CN - God of Strength
Jordan believes in one thing. Strength rules. Strength is above all. The strong survive and the weak serve.
Minor Deities
Melina - N - Goddess of Life and Nature
Melina, the daughter of Tornis and Lumin, can be both calm and firey. Although she is spirited, her moods are far more easier to predict than her mother's.
Jacinth - NG - God of Beauty and Image
Jacinth is vein and, some say, conceited but is always willing to help out others -- by remaking their outward appearance to be more, as he believes, beautiful. Image, to Jacinth, is everything.
Jasper - LG - God of Heroic Deeds and Sacrifice
Jasper lived a life as a mortal. He sacrificed everyting for what he believed in, even allowing his wife to be killed, because she was found guilty of a crime -- she did commit it, but he did not raise a finger to save her.
Nislar - LE - Goddess of Strength and Wisdom
Nislar, in life, was the wife of Jasper. She witnessed much evil and much good, but the worse evil that she belevies she ever saw was that of a husband allowing his wife to be put to death.
Molon - NE - God of Homicide and Strife
Molon, while enjoying a good bout of evil, is far more concerned with making sure he is not caught than whether or not he commits a crime. He is always considering the next steps. What will come from his actions? If no one will see him do it, he'll slit the woman's throat and steal her child, while eating that delicious turkey dinner she had just made.
Sonar - N - Goddess of Sleep and Dreams
Sonar is said to visit those who fall asleep and provide them with the dreams they seek, whether for good or ill.
Lymar - N - God of Nature and Life
Lymar, although having great power, choose to live his life in quiet contemplation of the elements and the sounds around him. Life, after all, is too short to spend in strife.
Mythlar - CG - Goddess of Animals and Beasts
Mythlar is considered to be an enigma, in that everytime she appears she is in a different form. No mortal has seen her true form.
Minlar - N - God of Sex and Fertility
Minlar is seen as blessing men with the act of sex and the ability to sire young.
Sinar - N - Goddess of Sex and Fertility
Sinar, wife of Minlar, is seen as blessing women with the act of sex and the ability to hold young.
Moslar - CE - Goddess of Pain and Suffering
Moslar enjoys the torture of those who defy her. She considers it a blessing from her people, if they sacrifice at least three souls a day.
Mila - N - Goddess of The Hunt
Mila does not care who or what she hunts. The thrill is in the chase. To her, the experiences are what makes the trip.
Niscia - NE- The Goddess of Revenge
Niscia is said to make pacts with people in order to offer revenge, but is sly in how she does it, seeking those already hurt and offering deals to her advantage. She is also known to want to control those she makes pacts with.
