Beast of the Blood War, Garuna (a.k.a. Grrr)

An Angel who showed great aptitude in defending Archangel Zefer Ashdew in the Daemonic Realm of Abaddon. She has no command of her own but is a free agent who roams where she pleases.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

While Physically Garuna remains a Movanic Deva she has progressed well beyond their limits and is able to keep pace with a Solar, the highest rank of Angel aside from the Archangels themselves. Many believe that her time in the Abyss warped her into something more akin to an Azata than an Angel but so long as she wishes to call herself an Angel she is permitted.

Personal history

Following her defense of Archangel Zefer in Abaddon, Garuna found herself seeking further violence, becoming unpredictable and exceptionally violent even during simple sparring matches with her fellow Angels. Fearing her violent nature she requested to be banished from Celestia until such time as she could control herself once more. Zefe hesitantly agreed and cast the Angel to the Lower Planes herself.
Upon arrival in the Abyss Garuna let her instincts run wild and lost herself to rage and beastial wrath. She left a trail of death in her wake and eventually ended up in the middle of the frontlines of the Blood War, clashing with Devil and Demon Alike. She proved a monstrous combatant and as years stretched into decades she became more and more warped and burned by the Battlefield she found herself upon. By the time she had regained her sense of self she was a warped reflection of the person she had once been.
A Beastial Angel with Bat like Ears, Ravenesque feathers in her and feline like fangs and Claws. She viewed herself as a Monster and returned to Celestia to beg Zefer to purify or execute her. She returned to find the Archangel in good spirits, Zefer cared not for her appearance if it meant her return to the fold. Garuna was hesitant but did repledge her loyalty to the Second Host and returned to Zefer's service, standing alongside the Solar and new Force Commander Vantaya. She now serves as a solo agent of the Second Host and as a part of Zefer's Personal Guard.

Mental Trauma

Garuna is known to enter a battle Frenzy when sufficiently enraged or injured. She views it as a personal ailing but the fellow members of her squad have learned to direct her and the proper ways to restrain her if necessary.
