Salandri

Salandri are Sala's race of lizard people!They are bipedal and humanoid, and normally very similar to human height at 5 to 6 feet tall on average. They resemble a wide variety of humanoid lizards in a wide variety of colors! Some Salandri have claws, others have finger-pads, and all Salandri have tails. All Salandri can breathe underwater. While not the most common around smaller non-Salandri settlements, many Salandri have been known to thrive in larger cities as artists, musicians, and craftspeople of all varieties. Being the children of Sala, Salandri culture itself is steeped in a deep love and veneration for the arts. It is not uncommon for wealthy Salandri to become patrons of the arts, but most continue to persue some form of artistry no matter their wealth. A great many famous sculptors and painters are Salandri, and Salandri architects are highly sought-after by nobility and royalty of any race. Salandri aren't completely pacifistic; with more natural flexibility then many other races, they can become skilled fighters of many varieties, and some also choose to become mages. More dastardly Salandri have historically become high-profile, famous theives.
