Sentient species of Allwanduir

There are four sentient species on Allwanduir, known as the Reasoners (in Ov: Öngnaktak). The sentient species outside of Allwanduirians themselves are designated as « Non-Talkers », as only the former have a variety of fully spoken and written languages.

Condition

Although unequal in capacities and rights, they cohabit in a mostly fair spirit. Discriminations exist, but they cause such disdain that they remain isolated behaviors, not prone to spreading. The species are compared to one another without any taboo, albeit with the expected amount of ethical and scientific controversies.
The common era is called « Common History » and started in the 11th century (about 3,800 years ago). From that point on, it is considered that Allwanduirians and all Non-Talkers have collaborated in all modern fields of science and culture.
The species can be compared using four factors. Each factor has a maximum of 1, taken from the species of reference. Allwanduirians are the reference for two out of the four factors.

Cohabitation

The Allwanduirians are acknowledged as the founders of the modern world. Only they have a proper administrative and political system, yet all Non-Talkers are not only represented in interspecies councils, but also take part to them actively, in accordance to their abilities.
In 6547 (1124) was founded the Sentient Council, in charge of enabling rights for all Sentients, considering fairness as well as respect for each species' needs and abilities. Most worldwide administrative matters are discussed at the SC ever since, even if it concerns only one species. This is to avoid that only Allwanduirians have to deal with such affairs, as this would unbalance interspecies collaboration. Thus, while such things as country borders are strictly designed by, and for Allwanduirians, they were made through debates at the SC in most cases.
All species have representative subcouncils in every species-specific councils. To allow for the most efficient system, nationalities are very laxly regulated; most countries grant their nationality to anybody that has dwelt on their territory for a sufficient amount of time and for legitimate reasons. Some even automatically grant the nationality upon entering the country.
Anybody gets to vote on any matter they wishes to take part in, with the condition that their understanding of the affairs is acknowledged by the SC. This is also very laxly managed, but it is still forbidden, for example, to Crawlwokens to vote in ethical affairs regarding other species. Some countries were granted the exception that Non-Talkers' votes be worth less than 1 per individual, to still account for the population, were it great enough.
