Ponies
A race of smaller horses, with distinct colors and very outgoing personalities. Ponies are very close to Elves, as both of their societies are within temperate climates and live their lives around magic. Once upon a time, there were Alicorns, a legendary and extraordinarily rare race which had the abilities of both Pony sub-races, alongside wings and the capability of flight, but they were defeated by Dragons in a cataclysmic battle during the Rune Age.
Terra Ponies: Ponies without Wings or Magic, but rather great Strength, Earth Ponies are often farmers or laborers. As their energy is allocated toward their Vitality and Strength, Terra Ponies live longer than the other Ponies.
Unicorns: The Magical Pony race, Unicorns are identified by the horn atop their heads, which tend to be short and dull, as they are used for Magic Conduction, rather than stabbing. They manipulate objects with telekinesis rather than hooves, tails or mouths

Naming Traditions
Ponies are often named after descriptions and roles. For instance, a farmer could be named "Apple Plucker" or "Wheat Runner". A pony with black hair could be named "Shade Mane".
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Ponies have a close relationship with elves due to their similar cultures and geographic location.
Over time, Pony lifespans have become longer due to interbreeding between them and elves, this has lead to much discussion within Laria. As generations pass, those with extended lifespans pass those genes with future ponies regardless of spouse. The lifespan increases are noticeably more significant among Terra Ponies.
