The lineage of one of the royal families of Ornaria, Ignis is the title of the Royal Cardinal.

As one of the highest ranking families in all of Ornaria, the people of Ignis are held to a high social standing, and are fiercely prideful in nature. Ignis are expected to be the picture of excellence in whatever field they take.

Common Dress code

The family colors of Ignis are Red, White and Green, public attire for the Ignis family will involve these three colors without exception.

Coming of Age Rites

Members of the Ignis family are required to learn a school of magic when they are young, and are expected to already be proficient in Quintessence by the age of 13 (which is the age where most youths in alland are eligable to go to magic school)

The Ignis family is forbidden from associating with the Ogres of Bolotto, due to a brutal history with them which has endured for centuries.

Clement Ignis IV: The King of Ornaria from 751-present. Is known as one of the most powerful kin in all of history, and is regarded as a demigod by many. 

Marlene Ignis: The Maiden of Black from 740-present. Being the inheritor of this storied magic, Marlene is an exceptional Fire Cleric.

Albarnn Ignis: The first Fire Paladin, served the house of Ignis from 407-448 AQ, his feat of besting 6 Mahovan Inquisitors in combat has become legend.

Clement Ignis I: The first Ignis to serve as King of Ornaria after fighting back a platoon of Bolottan marines, protecting the Ornarian coast.

Ryall Ignis II: A talented wizard, invented the spell Heat Metal in 286 AQ, tragically died falling down the stairs at the age of 104.

Cassandra Ignis IX: An accomplished author who made great strides in spreading knowlege of magic creatures throught the late 600's.
