Somåne
The Somåne are a devoted folk that pray to either the suns or the moons. They believe that they are their descendants and gain their powers only through them. Even their religion is only focused on them as they won’t accept others gods, making them outcasts among others. This is also one of the reasons why they tend to live secluded from other humanoids. Through their commitment to only one celestial body, Sun and Moon Somåne split into two different groups to avoid conflict, still some Sun Somåne despise Moon Somåne and the other way around. Somåne have different skin colours than humans, Sun Somåne have a yellow or orange skin while Moon Somåne have dark blue or black skin, some of them even have glowing freckles. They have a large hole in their chest in which rests a metal looking plate also referred to as Rairth. It stores most of their energy that they obtain from the celestial bodies. On the Rairth plate glows a symbol, a sun or a moon, depending on which descendant they are. They are always glowing, even more if their celestial bodies are visible in the sky.
