Rakish

Rakish is a rather rudimentary language, and when spoken or written, much of it must be interpreted on one's own. It is therefore one of the most difficult languages to learn on Alkumeri. Although the language sounds a bit hard and fragmented, the way it is written is the complete opposite. Unlike any other language, Rakish requires you to paint a picture rather than write conventional words. You have to combine different shapes into one big unity and pay meticulous attention to their size and alignment, otherwise what you intended to write will not make sense. What in spoken language is determined by facial expression or voice pitch, is the on position, complexity and sometimes even color in the written form. One cannot read Rakish as in the traditional sense, one must look at the totality to understand it, as everything depends on each other. Raskers "write" this language with all four hands at the same time, which is a beautiful spectacle to behold. Everyone else can hardly do it with two hands, as it requires enormous coordination of both hands and you have to know exactly what you want to express before you start. Rakish can also be carved like Vexcan, but is more often painted on stone or parchment.
