No matter if you are a beginner or pro, baking your own bread is a journey everyone has to take.

History

What stared as a pizza baking competition between two cooks soon turned into a world wide tradition.
Once, two cooks were located opposite of one another on the same marked place. They both disliked each other so much that they had multiple fights over the course of years. People complained to the king at that time, and even the cooks had multiple auditions themselves. One day the king had too much of them, so he set up a baking competition between the two and whose pizza tasted the best would be the winner and the other would be exiled forever. He set up two large kitchens in the middle of the market square for everyone to see. The contest was in the evening and they both had one hour to prepare and serve their pizza and they were able to use any ingredient they were able to get. So both of them made the best version of pizza they could while a large crowd of people formed around them, watching their masterful hands at work.
Both were able to serve the king their pizza in time and were even able to make some for the surrounding crowds aswell.

Unfortunately, the king disliked both versions of their pizza, so he exiled them both on the spot.
The people were unhappy with the decision of the king that they stared to bake themselves and brought their creations to the king in the same night. Some of them were delicious but a lot of them were not, but it didn't matter to them, and soon his entire castle was filled with baked goods. There were not only pizzas but also other things made out of dough that found their way into every empty space of the castle, every door, every window was eventually covered in dough and decorated accordingly. It is said that the king died in that night as he was crushed by the weight of the food that was stacked till under the roof.

Since then, this day is celebrated by baking any kind of baked goods in honour of the two cooks that brought together an entire town by their passion of cooking.
