The Birth of The Elder Gods and The Realm

The Birth

At the dawn of time, the universe contained only Cerifrios and Pharoe, the darkness, and the light. The two were at constant odds with each other, locked in an eternal fight until one day, they both lost. In a final clash, they dealt each other a killing blow, and they both exploded, littering the universe with light and shadow. From this burst of energy, six Celestial beings formed.  

The Elder Gods

The first being to manifest was Viari, the goddess of Nature. Quickly following came Akteus, God of the Sea, Caerys, Goddess of Love, Feugan , God of the Sky, Heltyx, God of Light, and Naella, Goddess of Death.  

The Birth of The Realm

The Elder Gods looked upon the stars, and quickly found themselves alone and bored. To mitigate this feeling, The Gods banded together and created the realm of Alkanor, resplendent and comforting. the Gods took to work creating beautiful flora and fauna, and rejoiced with each other, except for one.  

The Growing Conflict and Birth of the Primordials

Naella felt outcast. Everything she physically touched would wither and die. Due to this, She created her own realm where the dead creations had a place to remain. A place Naella was proud of and called home. She named this realm The Shadowfell. Despite the pride of the realm she single handedly crafted, Naella quickly found herself lonely in Shadowfell. It was in this loneliness that Naella created the first humanoids. The other celestials were angry that she kept killing their creations and were disgusted with the twisted aberrations she had created to serve her. The other Gods felt that they alone should inhabit their form, and the humans were abominations. In response, they created the first immortal non-celestials: The Primordial Beings.  
There was Avaggron, a fiery bird created by Heltyx. Anondel was a gargantuan serpent crafted by Akteus. Zaratan, an impossibly large tortoise, was created by Viari. The final Primordial was Thinereh, whom Feugan took special interest in.
To spite Naella , the Primordials were created with immunity to her touch. The celestials commanded the Primordials to invade Naella's home and cause destruction to everything that had been twisted by her dark energies.  

The Birth of Evil

Furious, Naella responded with her own unkillable creations: Algrumar, Barumak, Korneth, Morgrunnok, Qyrneth, Triz'Guroth, and Xilgroxen; they were Demon Lords creatured from Naella's shifting emotions, each imbued with its own malice. The newborn creatures were instructed to capture and torture the Primordials for eternity, since they could not be killed.
  The growing tension between the Gods slowly grew over the course of 1000 years, until the conflict could no longer be contained.
