Aligmar

The world of Aligmar is a unique and mystical land. While formally one land mass, Aligmar was separated into five continents, Aligmora, Chivamar, The Peaks of Bahamut, Lethio, and Southern Lethio. Being torn asunder during a great battle between Bahamut, the Great Platinum Dragon, and The Forgotten, the only known name of the entity that tried to consume the world. The landmasses are now scarred and torn, the battle being remembered and revered as The Sundering. While healing from the wounds inflicted upon the lands resources are still scarce. Each continent is divided into several nations each with their own unique culture, beliefs and, confrontations.   While most towns and cities within these territories live in peace and modest wealth each have at least one great city that stands as the pinnacle of their culture and innovation. Aligmora, located near the equator is a pious and fruitful land on the surface but, each of the three nations practice their faith in varying means. Chivamar, a tundra, and the largest of the land masses. Though mostly frozen deserts, it boast a lively fishing community as well as some of the most sturdy of habitants. The Peaks of Bahamut a thin strip of sharp spires of stone and earth. It sits between Lethio and South Lethio unattached due to large channels that separate it from a mainland. Known for its trade cities on the coasts, and the legends that surround the fabled Wave Echo Mines it's mountains are filled with perilous dangers and the few men and women that have ventured these mountains have returned bloodied within a day or two, or not at all. Lethio and South Lethio use to be one nation, with the landmass that makes up the Peaks of Bahamut being part of this territory. After The Sundering these lands were split, due to the cliff faces that were created during this shift, this land was able gain sovereignty for Lethio. However Southern Lethio remains a vassal nation of the wealthy Lethio.
