General Summary
12 Dustus 2800
Our heroes finished resting after fighting the air elemental, in the morning Zanril inspired everyone and they headed out. Our heroes came across two burned out wagons, an old campfire, and loose horses. Kaylin casts Speak with Animals and learns that the horses were part of the caravan. Rorick's brother was with the group, they set fire to the caravan and freed their horses. Kaylin investigated a small cave shelter and found a dire wolf. Negotiations with the dire wolf failed and they ended up killing it.
13 Dustus 2800
Our heroes hit the road by last evening. They searched and investigated the road to see what way the people from the caravan went. Our heroes headed to
Clearfort Zanril headed to the Clearfort Tourism Bureau. Solto headed to the tavern/stable and told the stable about the loose horses. The stable hand told them that a group with a necromantic vibe did pass through and headed straight to the lake.
Night
Our heroes believed the stable hand and headed straight south from Clearfort to the lake. They decided to ride through the night and take a level of exhaustion. Near the lake, when they decided to move stealthy they made some investigation checks and learned that the caravan did not come this way. Zanril was not happy about taking an hour watch but his teammates kicked him awake.
14 Dustus 2800
Our heroes had a decision to make, what town do they visit next? Brontos, Clearfort, or Black Crystal. They make their way to Brontos and into the Ruby Dagger. Zanril found a young talkative man who told them the caravan walked out on water and disappeared into some fog. Our heroes had a discussion about what to do next, go out onto the lake or keep their ears open for rumors about the lake.
They decided to put out feelers and get some hints. Solto suspects that this caravan is related to the mining operation at Jimmy's mine. They remember that raising the dead in Evrand is illegal. Zanril is going to ask around about the red gold. Rorick would like to check around to see if there are any odd jobs around.
