Daeran
Daeran (Day-ron) is a half-elf who was raised by humans, but ran away at a young age. He was born in the Forest of the Long Lived outside Ardglass. His father was a high elf and his mother was a human. His father's family forbade the union and banished the 'impure' child and its mother from the elven world. His mother went to her family in Ardglass to raise Daeron. Daeron struggled to fit in with the humans and was often teased and bullied; always pointing and making jokes about his ears. He grew his hair long to hide them as best he could.
During those troubling times, he would sneak off to the Elven forest and visit his father. His father had family 'obligations' and 'responsibilities' which prevented him from being with his mother of leaving the Elven world. Or so he was told. Many pleasurable hours were spent in the forest with his father, learning the secrets and traditions of the forest and of the elves.
When he was 16 years old he could no longer stand the world he was in and fled to another town. Here he disguised himself as a human and began to live the life he always wanted. He made many friends and business associates. He was well liked and ran a profitable business for many years. Three years ago, he was involved in a serious accident where he was burned on his right side. Because of the ordeal he left the city and moved back to the Kingdom of Evrand . Currently, he is living in Black Crystal with his human cousin, Bareris, and his wife, Nephus.
