Kornen became Isidra the First's lover and consort soon after her husband's suspicious death. When that lead to Isidra leading a revolution, Kornen gladly led her military force into the inevitable conflicts. His greatest victory was in taking the life of Rojerim Bogurn during the Battle of the Blood Plains, winning the Moonlight Crown for his beloved Isidra.
While it is publicly acknowledged that Kornen is the father of Isidra's daughter, the timeline for Isidra's husband's death and her taking Kornen as consort is near enough that there are some who question Imolia's parentage.
