House Bogurn

House Bogurn had shifted the line of succession to a patrilineal inheritance, leaving women out of the rulership. Women in general suffered under the rule of House Bogurn, and it is considered a blessing from the Five Spirits that House Vandivel restored order and equality through their matrilineal rule.
