The secret mage university within the town of Galad was burned to the ground by Declan the Mad Mage. Caisys Galanodel escaped.
Declan the Mad Mage finally discovered the location of the town of Galad, knowing it to be the residence of the Galanodel family. He spared no one that he could see; the entire town burned, and the college itself was thrust into the sea.
