The Valar
The Valar are the sub-deific beings that are under and are loyal to Veritamos himself. They are allowed to be independant insofar as they do not stray from the order of creation. Because of their vast diversity in values and areas of expertise, as well as the specific roles they fulfil in creation as a whole, they are venerated separately and there are temples errected in their honor, while still giving the ultimate honor due to Veritamos.
Worship
Because these beings are not actually "Gods", but sub-deific beings, they are not techncially "worshipped", but "venerated". Meaning that they are respected greatly, with reference to Veritamos Himself. To respect these beings rightly is to understand that the Creator is the true one worthy of worship. This mirrors our own world. We can respect people and objects in creation, but we must understand that the Creator is the only one truly worthy of our utmost worship.Meta Info
Insofar as dieties are concerned in the D&D universe, these beings are considered Greater Dieties for all the purposes of mechanics. However, in this world, this simply means that they are the highest powers in ability and capacity other than the Creator Himself.
