There are some brave hunters who hunt Vollak for their fur, teeth, and claws. The meat gets left for scavenger animals, since it's too tough for humans to enjoy.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

They're primarily found in the forests of Thienid, but they've begun crossing into Scythia.

Average Intelligence

They're very intelligent when it comes to survival and hunting, and they have a high basic intelligence. However, they can't speak and they're totally unlearned in social anything.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They have excellent night vision and a heightened sense of smell. Their hearing is a little bit better than that of a human.

Vollak are extremely muscular and strong, weighing heavy for their height due to a higher muscle mass.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Their fur usually ranges from brown to grey to black, but there are some varieties in the colder parts of Thienid with white fur. Generally they don't have markings, but they can have spots or stripes on their arms that resemble hyena markings. Generally these are darker than the surrounding fur.
