Yuan-Ti
Yuan-Ti are snake people from a distant system and part of the colloquially named "Hunter Races." The Yuan-Ti are known for their poisonous fangs and their mastering of stealth. According to Yuan-Ti folklore, the ancient gods fought the Yuan-Ti and spited them with never being able to touch magic: any magic would never find them. Whatever the case, Yuan-Ti are undetectable by magic and have resistance to magical influences. As one of The Hunter Races, they're often prized as ship crew members and mercenaries and famous for their poison and their subterfuge.
