Tabaxi
Tabaxi are cat people from a distant star and part of the colloquially named "Hunter Races." The Tabaxi are known for their quick speed, quick wit, and their unusual desire to subservience. As one of The Hunter Races, they're often prized as ship crew members and mercenaries and famous for their speedy thefts.
Power from Subservience
Their culture heavily upholds the idea of learning from the eldest. Tabaxi have a strong gerontocracy, where the old rule, and they'ver built a tradition of following those they are under for wisdom and learning. However, some argue this tradition goes much too far, with young Tabaxi being taught to become like those above them and having their own emotions and beliefs pushed aside. As the Tabaxi spread across the galaxy, this culture has splintered and not stayed quite identical everywhere. Some Tabaxi prize the eldest rule as the prime idea, others that they are to learn from others and not take any of their own knowledge as important, and others still that the ultimate position is servitude to another.DND Mechanics
