Warforged

The Warforged, also known as the Warborn and Constructs, are a created race born from the ingenuity of wizardry and arcane magic. Originally created by the Kasilian Empire through a ritualistic act known as "The Grafting", the original Warforged were born of a spell that sought Elementals being trapped within humanoid bodies formed out of metal. This ritual not only contained them within these bodies but also granted them a form of sentience that could grow and learn like a normal mortal. While most of them had fallen along with the rest of the Empire during the fall caused by the All-Takers, some have since been unearthed while other civilizations have discovered other ways of building them, both by using the Grafting ritual and otherwise, the former of which has no longer been restricted to just Elementals.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Most Warforged have humanoid shapes but this is not the case for all of them, some looking like spiders or having rolling spheres instead of legs or simply floating. Warforged can also be made of other materials besides metal, such as rocks, bone, wood, and other things.

Growth Rate & Stages

Warforged do not grow in the body, only in mind. While some transfer souls from smaller to large bodies to simulate growth.
