The War of Gods and Mages

The War of Gods and Mages was a continental conflict that occurred during most of the Age of Divinity, starting with the fall of the Kaisilian Empire and the meteoric rise of the presence of the gods, and ending with the Fall of the Mage's Tyranny.

Mages were persecuted and actively hunted and killed to avoid any rising of new mage lords. Godly worship grew pervasive throughout the land.

Aftermath

The gods and their divine champions developed a strong foothold in the world, giving rise to many clergies and religious organizations that still exist to this day.
