The Court of the Plague Shield

The Court of the Plague Shield is an order of alchemists, clerics, druids, and herbologists dedicated to the creation of beneficial medicines, such as anti-venoms, poison antidotes, healing elixirs, and empowering potions.

Structure

Chancellor: This is the highest-ranking member of the Court who rules over all of the decisions made and primary aspects of research.

• Amvorius Pine: The current Chancellor of the Court, Amvorius is a dark elf and a member of the Chasmhall assembly, working in secret with the surface to develop curse-cures, vaccines, anti-venoms, and anti-poisons.

Shieldmembers: These are the carefully selected members of the Plague Shield, a variety of druids, alchemists, and even clerics.

• Basalt Denmadden: A duergar master alchemist from the Dross who works solo with a deep gnome assistant named Sarn. He specializes in various different fields, predominantly Hizagrium-forging, inhalant-based poisons and toxins, and the study of innate magical biology in the different races. He has dark purple skin, grey eyes, and a short grey beard with a shaved head, wearing a crow-formed plague mask that allows him to see in magical darkness and through poisonous gases.
• Theodora Sarn: A female deep gnome junior alchemist apprenticing under Basalt.
• Daedalus Puffpyke: A hairless tabaxi alchemist who became as much to be able to deal with his condition, which saw him ridiculed and disdained by the many nomadic Tabaxi tribes. His focus is on healing, skincare, wound tinctures, and potion development. He has pale pink skin, beady blue eyes, and wears a pair of goggles that allow him to see.
